Holidays seem like such a long time ago…..

For the past few summers I have been lucky enough to spend a few weeks in France in this lovely place.
Whilst I was there this summer, I decided to try watercolour pencils again. It’s probably the first time since school! Love the effect with fineliner on top.

Trying something new – paper cutting.

I thought I would treat myself to a new crafty gadget over the summer – the Fiskars FingerTip craft knife. Yes, it looks weird , but it is so much easier than using a standard craft knife.
This was my first attempt (you might be able to tell…!).

Antique printing press

Whilst on holiday in France this summer, I came across this little beauty. An antique letter or copy press that would have been used to make duplicate copies of documents.
Not exactly sure what I will use it for – it currently has flowers being pressed in it, which seems as good a use as any…

Free machine embroidery fun!

Thought I would share this little piece of free machine embroidery. My friend got married earlier in the summer, and this was the result of wanting to give her something not quite run-of-the-mill!
Lola and Bane are their cats to help you make any sense of the poem!

The new egg cup design!

Finally! The new Blossom Tree egg cups have arrived! They have been something that I have wanted to do to expand the popular egg cup and cosy range. You will have to excuse the bad lighting until I set up a proper shoot, but I was so pleased with the result I wanted to share!
Dare I say it, but I think these might be my favourite egg cup and cosies so far…
Once again these will come in tissue filled gift boxes, and will hopefully be for sale online very soon, but until then, just message me if you would like a set.

Country homes and interiors

It has taken me too long to share this!

I was very excited to learn a few weeks ago, that my Blossom Tree cushion and table runner was to be photographed and printed in Country Homes and Interiors October issue.

It’s all thanks to one of my stockists- Pablo Blue who stock the cushions and table runner.

The issue has lots of natural, autumn themed loveliness, so well worth a look!

New egg cup packaging

I’ve got some new retail packaging for my egg cups! They are made from eco friendly recycled card, and have an open back to show the different colours and prints of the cosies.
